A member asked:

I was diagnosed with sub clinical hypothyroidism with an 8.3 tsh then 3 months later i got retested and it was 3.3 tsh. i show classic hypothyroidism symptoms from not being able to lose weight to digestive issues. what could cause tsh to fluctuate?

Thyroid replacement?: You didn’t mention, but the doctor who diagnosed “sub clinical hypothyroidism” probably gave you thyroid replacement therapy. If so, that will cause your TSH to fall (to a normal range). That’s good. Best of luck
