Different causes: Microcytic anemia is usually due to iron deficiency and macrocytic anemia due to B12 and folate (folic acid) deficiency. Mcv of 107 is high and likely causes are b12, folate (folic acid) deficiency, alcohol use, and hypothyroidism. You did not state your hemoglobin to know that you have anemia.

Both: Microcytic anemia is most often due to iron deficiency and blood loss. Macrocytic anemia(mcv over 96) can be due to vitamin B12 or Folic Acid deficiency, alcoholism, liver disease, some bone marrow disorders like leukemia, underactive thyroid or rarely fish tapeworms. All anemias are dangerous if not properly diagnosed and treated. A hematologist is consulted if the cause of the macrocytosis is vague.

This is serious: I'm not going to mince words. With an MCV of 107, you are seriously sick unless the problem is a cold agglutinin causing two red cells to be counted as one. If you are drinking alcohol, stop now. Get re-tested and get the labs that your physician considers appropriate (without knowing you, b12, folate, (folic acid) thyroid checks). If you are a vegetarian, tell your physician.
