Go back to dentist: Go back and make sure that there have been no complications of the dental procedure. Do not know which tooth was extracted but if upper bicuspid or molar tooth it may have been the source of your sinus infection. Go soon.

Metallic taste: May mean either infection or minor bleeding. Please return to General Dentist or Oral Surgeon who removed the infected tooth for post-surgical re-evaluation.
