Lithium is : A good mood stabilizer for many people. Although i don't see a mood disorder listed, i believe you may have indicated in one of your past questions that you have a bipolar spectrum mood disorder. Your psychiatrist will likely select your mood stabilizer depending on which type of bipolar do you have, side effect profile ; response to previous medications. Take care.
