A member asked:

Will piracetam affect ritalin's effectiveness?

No known interaction: Piracetam, a cyclic derivative of GABA used to improve cognition among other things, does not to my knowledge interact adversely with Ritalin (methylphenidate). Piracetam can, however, according to my references have adverse effects of unspecified frequency, including: diarrhea, weight gain, somnolence, insomnia, nervousness, depression, hyperkinesia, and rash.

Probably not: An interaction checker indicates no negative interactions. Piracetam has been found to help memory in some studies. Typically this is one of the symptoms of adhd.
