Ask your doctor: Your doctor should explain all of the possible risks of doing this type of surgery and have you sign a pre-op consent form, that is called informed consent and is the standard of care, you can ask your doctor how many laparoscopies he or she has done and how many laparoscopies he or she has done for endometriosis.
