The op note from my laparoscopy says there were endometriosis implants along the posterior vaginal wall and overlying the lower posterior cervix. could these have been visible on exam prior to surgery? none of the doctors i saw ever mentioned it.

Likely not. : Most often, findings as yours are only found during laparoscopy.
