Yes: Interstitial cystitis is a very common problem that can cause vaginal pain and painful intercourse. Your symptoms can worsen with your period. Many women also have bladder symptoms like urinary frequency and urgency. Their are effective treatments. You need to discuss with your gyn or a urologist.
