Int. Cystitis causes local symptoms (urinary)and pelvic pain but not through out the body. If you have severe pelvic pain pl see your MD asap.

Although interstitial cystitis is not normally associated with the numbness you describe, the doctor who made the diagnosis is the appropriate person to evaluate this complaint. If trust is lacking, consider seeing a second urologist.
