Not necessarily: Heartburn can be caused by many things not just alcohol. Acid reflux many times is related to what we eat and drink. Acid reflux is secondary to increased acid production in the stomach. Stress can also increase the acid production causing us to have heartburn. There are many medications available to treat heartburn if dietary changes do not correct the problem. See your doctor if the problem persists.
