i have a badly ingrown fingernail that is causing me a lot of pain. home treatment is not working so what type of dr do i see to have it cut out?

Any reputable: Urgent care center with a physician or the "fast track" area of your local ed. Keep in mind that if it is not abscessed you may only receive analgesics and antibiotics which many times are successful. Trust the physician examing you as the least invasive option that works is the best.
