What is the best treatment for persistent ingrown hair? its been weeks and it is still inflamed. i cant see the offending hair to remove it.

Soaks: Applying warm soaks reduces inflammation. If there is surrounding redness which is spreading, antibiotics are given. If there is a boil like swelling with pain and tenderness, incision to drain pus is often required.
