is warm water foot bath with sea salt good home treatment for an ingrown toenail? is the sea salt beneficial?

So the : Water will initially soften the nail and the salt can help kill infection if one is present but at sametime it can also burn. Best bet is to see foot doctor because you risk further infection playing around with it.
