SSRI: Selective serotonin re uptake inhibitors also have effects in other neurotransmitters like dopamine, norepinephrine, etc. They interfere with proper testicular hypophiseal-hypoyhalamic function and by doing so decrease the testosterone production through decrease fsh and lh secretion. They might be interfering with the estrogen receptors in the brain and pituitary too.
