Not needed: An oral rehydration solution like pedialyte is for vomiting/diarrhea in an illness. Drinking pedialyte every day adds no benefits, compared to drinking water, because the small amount of "other stuff" in the ors is already obtained from the normal foods a person eats. Ors is not needed during normal sports activities but special drinks are available for times of overexertion or prolonged exercise.
