i have a sever stabing pain in the center of my cheast and it hurts when i take a deep breath or swallow, it's hard to breath also. what is this?

The list: Could be large. Deep breathing expands the chest wall increasing pressure, that explains the discomfort. If affecting the esophagus (swallowing) and trachea (breathing) could be a signal of something wrong. Get checked immediately and good luck.
