Only if it's early: If you are just beginning to feel symptoms, you can try taking cranberry tablets plus vitamin c and a lot of water. And there are over the counter "anti-septics" like "cystex" which may help. But if your symptoms develop into a full blown infection, then you are past home-remedies, and you need to see a doctor for antibiotics. If you wait too long, you risk a kidney infection.

Not likely: Highly unlikely to cure UTI without substances that kill bacterias. The treatment kills bacteria after a single dose if it is acute infection. If chronic UTI the treatment may last up to 2 weeks.
