Been drinking alcohol heavily for the last 3 months. almost every other day and now developed frequent dry coughing. is it related to alcohol?

Alcoholsim: There could be several things here. Chronic alcohol intake on the stomach can increase acid production. If you are inhaling some of that acid at night it will cause a cough. Alcohol is very dehydrating and your cough may be caused by that. But, I am happy to hear you ask for help. Would you consider taking a thirty day trial of not drinking to see if you feel better?
