Rule out...: I believe chronic fatigue syndrome is real but seems to be best treated by learning to fight it as if it were functional. Trust no pituitary adenoma, addison's, sleep apnea, you're not on a bizarre diet, no restless legs or other parasomnia, B12 and ANA are normal, and your home heater isn't poisoning you with carbon monoxide. All these are easy to miss.
