No, not normal: Go to urgent care or er to make sure you don't have some sort of infection.

Pain post op: Some discomfort may be normal after one of these procedures. However, if pregnancy tissue was not completely evacuated you will continue to have significant cramping and bleeding. I've not heard of thyroid pain with a termination or suction d;c. I do not perform terminations, but like most gynecologists we see the complications in the er and our office. You may want to get evaluated.
