Am now 38. what should i expect after the abdominal hysterectomy if they leave my ovaries?

No periods: The main advantage to leaving the ovaries is to preserve the hormonal environment. Besides not having menstrual bleeding, things should pretty much stay the same. There may be some differences related to sexual function, some women experience orgasms differently after a hysterectomy.
