Colloid cyst: Colloid cysts arise from the roof of the third ventricle in the brain. Many are found incidentally and are not symptomatic but some can cause unpredictable obstruction of the spinal fluid pathways. It is important to see a neurosurgeon who specializes in endoscopic brain surgery or microneurosurgery to discuss the options.
