Could it be...: For a person with unexplained weight loss (lost a lot of weight with no reason, is eating fine, and seems free of disease), cancer is always a possibility, regardless of his past diagnoses. So, the answer to such a "could it be" question is always "yes". That is why doctors like to find out why a person loses weight for no apparent reason. There are also other causes, besides cancer.
