A little pimple popped up right under the appendectomy site about two days ago the pimple has opened and all i see is surgical thread sticking out from my skin. the surgery was done a year ago.

Retained suture: This may be a retained suture, now causing a delayed "foreign body" reaction. The site should be examined to make sure there are no signs of infection as well.

The "Thread": May be non-absorbable suture material. If it is open, then this material is irritating the area and will need to be removed. See your surgeon.
