Tried OTC meds?: If just a strain/sprain have you tried over the counter medications for this conditions? Such as Ibuprofen or acetaminophen? They would be indicated as needed and according to the package insert/instructions. Sometimes, my patients benefit from using heat to the area as well. Best wishes.

I underwent a back X-Ray due to back pain. It showed generalized diminished bone density and mild scoliotic change in the lumbar vertebrae, while the intervertebral space is unchanged. I'll undergo an MRI, should I be worried?
9/13/23 Would a head X-Ray show a skull fracture and the plate and screws used to fix it 18 years ago? Do skull bones grow back together? With a plate and screws in your skull, is it more dangerous to have a head X-Ray, head CT or head MRI?
X-ray shows old fracture l5, MRI scheduled. Extreme pain in rt lower back, pelvic bone and can nog lift rt leg. I'm afraid I have nerve entrapment.
Knee injury, motorcycle accident. Bent backward, possible dislocation, leg straightened, popped back in. Motion tested ok. Xray no broken bone, unremarkable soft tissue. 6 days later still aching/pain, can't move on own, how long to heal? MRI need?
