Yes: Gas still forms in the GI tract even with light eating. Try taking simethicone 1/2 hour after meals and at bedtime to prevent gas build-up. When bloated, drinking warm water and/or putting a hot water bottle on the abdomen helps break down the gas and helps you pass it. Try to identify what foods cause more gas.
