Diagnosis is: Not based just on tumor marker 19-9 only , require other tests , including biopsy is required for definitive diagnosis of pancreatic cancer 0 - 37/ units/ ml is considered normal , speak to you doctor who has more information on you.

Yes: Ca 19-9 is a tumor marker used to aid in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer but it is not a screening tool. Meaning, if it is normal you can still have cancer and if it is high, you may not have cancer.

Yes-still possible: The tumor marker ca19-9 is often elevated, but not always elevated with pancreatic cancer. Even if found to be elevated, it's not specific for just the pancreas.
