May be wrong label: If a condition does not respond to normal treatment measures, the diagnosis may be in error. There are other skin conditions that can mimic ringworm and further testing including proper scraping or biopsy may be needed to confirm or exclude the diagnosis.

Get a biopsy : Please make sure the diagnosis is confirmed via biopsy. Is it possible you have tinea versicolor rather than tinea corporis? Please see your local dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis i and offer proper treatment.

Sure it is ringworm?: Ringworm is a skin fungus that typically goes away with topical cream (tinactin, micatin, (miconazole) lotrimin) when used for a month. If it recurs it make me wonder if it is indeed ringworm or are you being reinfected? Tea tree oil can help resolve it (will have to use for a month). Selsun blue shampoo washing daily may also help. See a dermatologist for definitive diagnosis if those dont work.
