Retinal vasculitis: May cause perivascular sheathing or thickening of either the veins or arteries in the retina. Autoimmune vasculitis is a frequent concern. Any of these diseases can cause such inflammation which can damage the retina and cause permanent visual loss. A retina specialist who can conduct a Fluorescein angiogram can help. Also get TB test. Many autoimmune diseases have manifestations in the retina.
