May be constipation: It could be your adhesions, but if you have had constipation requiring manual dis-impaction, it is more likely that you need to change your diet and drink more water. A tumor in the rectum can also cause these symptoms, and a specialist (gi or surgeon) can do several tests to get you a definitive answer. Do not put it off.
