Second opinion: Post menopausal complex cysts need monitoring at minimum. A biopsy, excision, or more is also possible. Okay to ask for a second opinion, take family/friend with you to help ask questions. There are several pre-operative protocols to access risk for ovarian cancer based on labs, exam and ct findings. There are also other diagnosis, like bowel mass, abscess that should be easily addressed. Be well.
