Blood more accurate: A blood test is more sensitive than a urine test. When you first conceive, your hormone levels are very low, a blood test is more accurate early on. But after a few days, the hormone level should rise high enough that a urine test should also show it. There is also "chemical pregnancy", where the hormone test is briefly positive and then turns negative. Essentially a very early miscarriage.
