Mononucleosis: is an acute condition (infectious mono) that typically lasts 1-2 weeks with lymph nodes popping up near your throat or jaw. Positive mono antibodies, depending on the type (IgG, IgM, igA etc.) may mean she has an acute infection, or it may just mean she is immune to it from previous exposure at a younger age. This will need to be sorted out by someone with access to her information.

Sometimes mono has t: Sometimes mono presents with blood in the urine. Your Dr will follow this closely. Expect symptoms, especially fatigue, to persist several weeks. Avoiding strenuous exercise will be needed. Sufficient rest helps but prolonged bed rest makes it worse. Be sure there are activities. Absolutely no alcohol.
