A member asked:

When getting a annual physical does the blood work include a drug test, and does the physical require a urine sample? i'm worried about false positive

It does not: You can only be tested for drugs of abuse with your consent. Your physician doing your routine history and physical will not screen you for recreational substances. False-positive drug-of-abuse tests that have medicolegal consequences are very uncommon as the results must be verified by a test using a different chemical principle. And even if you're actually using, your physician is your friend.

Annual Physical: Annual physical doesn't usually involve a drug screen unless it is work related. Urine sample may be collected to screen for other things.
