Same problem: Dysphasia and aphasia are used as synonyms (although they do not mean exactly the same). They are terms used to describe language problems or dysfunction. Dysphagia is used to describe swallowing problems. Because the terms dysphasia and dysphagia are so commonly confused the use of the term dysphasia to describe language dysfunction is discouraged.
