What is dysphasia of the brain?

Dysphasia: Dysphasia refers to the neurological symptom, usually after a stroke in which the left hemisphere (the speech center) has been damaged and results in a difficulty either understanding or speaking language. There are various types: in some, the patient may not be able to make sense of what he hears, but can talk; in others, the patient understands, but can't find the words to say what s/he means.
