A member asked:

Does aphasia from a concussion go away?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: A concussion causes loss of consciousness, loss of memory, or combination, but persistent aphasia is due to traumatic brain injury associated with the head trauma and needs further investigation. Healing may occur over 18-24 months, but would not wait to discover outcome. See a neurologist.
