Last resort: Prednisone is usually a last resort - if nothing else works and the problem is really bad. If you only use it a short time, taper off and not too often - the side effects go away. But it is up to you (and those who care for you). If you'd prefer the sinus problem - taper off and get the best symptom relief you can. Otherwise tolerate side effects for a short time. Best!
