My daughter landed on her wrist and sprained it and she has wear a wrist brace. how long will she be in the brace? can she take it off for pe?

Two weeks: Typically she should wear the splint for two weeks--including during gym. If pain and swelling improves and her followup exam is normal then typically she can remove splint and resume normal activity. If symptoms persist she will need to be immobilized longer and may need repeat x-rays to rule out a hairline fracture.

Healing times vary: The healing rates can vary depending on the individual and on the exact type of injury. Consult with your doctor to see how long you will need to use the brace.
