A member asked:

I was wondering if hiv could ever seep through the palms and get into the bloodstream. the palms have pores so i was wondering if it could get passed.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HIV: That does not happen. Hiv is not an easy disease to transmit. It takes blood to blood or tissue to tissue directly in order to get into the body. This happens sexually, by transfusion (now rare), needle sharing during illicit drug use, tissue transplantation (again very rare) and other such direct manners. What you are describing does not happen.
