See your family MD: Your family doctor would be in the best position to help with breathing and evaluating whether there are problems. The answer could be as simple as an effect of anxiety or as complex as metabolic etiologies.

Anxiety: One cause could possible be anxiety, as when we are anxious we tend to breath very shallow. Best.
