Hurt wrist: If there is no pain with using your wrist then you probably wait to see how you do over the next few days, and not rush to the er now. Meanwhile ice your wrist off and on for the next day, and rest your wrist.

Colles' fracture: The colles' fracture is most commonly caused by people falling onto a hard surface and breaking their fall with outstretched arms - falling with wrists flexed would be a smith's fracture. We can't tell you if you broke it, but an x-ray would show that. If concern for a fracture, always best to get the x-ray to be sure. If no pain, swelling, you could immobilize it, and try urgicare x-ray in am.
