Possibly darwin bump: Some people have a small bump on the inside of their upper ear. This is known as "darwin's tubercle, " or "darwin's bump, " because charles darwin mentioned it in his book. Genetics determines it presence. It is present from birth if not this, then not sure from description. Physician could tell you by physical exam.
