Any number of things: Lumps in the neck can be caused by a number of things. They range from benign (like lymph nodes responding to an infection, cysts, or non-cancerous tumors) to serious conditions. Your doctor, after doing a history and physical exam can help you and recommend a specialist if needed.

Needs exam: I'm not sure what you are measuring from your description, the size of the lump or how far away it is from your jaw. If you have two solid, nonpainful neck masses i would have them examined this week by an ent. If that's not possible see your primary care physician this week. Cancers of the mouth and throat , or lymphoma, could present this way. It could be something benign, but get checked.
