Best to wait: Any type of smoking should be postponed for at minimum 2-3 weeks from extraction. Preferably 4. Think of it this way. ... How well would a wound on your arm heal if you kept holding it over a barbecue for a few minutes at a time. If you really have a need for weed their are other methods than smoking which won't affect your healing wound as much (that is not however an endorsement from me).

Smoking: Smoking weed or tobacco will irritate your healing wounds, delaying the healing process. Both the particulate matter in the smoke and the concentrated heat can set back your recovery. Please try to hold off for at least a couple of weeks, but the longer you abstain the quicker and better you will heal.
