A member asked:

Can a lobotomy be reversed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: A lobotomy involves the removal of brain tumor usually in the case of traumatic injury or extensive tumor involvement. Once brain tissue is removed, it can't be replaced. In children with early brain injury, the unaffected normal brain may pick up the function that was in the area that was removed.
