Temperature related?: Not an easy question as the pain could be coming from anywhere. But since your veins are one of the main ways our body tries to control our internal temperature, you may be experiencing discomfort as they change sizes - they may swell with activity and warmth and shrink when it is cold. As they change size the amount of blood flowing in them changes too. You may be sensitive to this change.
