A member asked:

I have back problems requiring sugery, what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Discuss with your : Surgeon if you have exhausted all options like exercise, physical therapy, medication, lifestyle changes like weight control -not smoking, and then ask what the success rate of the proposed surgery is as well as the risks of the surgery and of not doing surgery. If not satisfied with the answers or if you want to confirm that surgery is an option see a spine surgeon for a second opinion.
