Wrong lens implanted after cataract surgery, is it possible to fix this?

Wrong lens: Yes, but it depends how wrong it is... It is a difficult surgery, and more things can go wrong. If you just need a little glasses to correct the differenece that might be all you need. Alternatively, if your surgeon has little experience with this, you may want to seek out another surgeon that has more experience removing or exchanging lenses.

An intraocular lens: Can be removed after cataract surgery if it is the incorrect power, if it's not in the correct position, or if the patient doesn't tolerate the type of lens which was inserted. It's best to do this type of surgery fairly soon after the original surgery was done. This allows for more straightforward removal of the original implant.
