Can you tell me about what it's like to have cataract surgery with toric lens implant?

Good experiences: The standard implant corrects only nearsightedness or farsightedness. Toric lens additionally corrects astigmatism. It is proven to be effective and can reduce your dependency on glasses even further. You will still need glasses for reading if you choose to be corrected for distance. Toric IOL: Toric implants correct for astigmatism & distance vision though usually do not correct for reading unless is a Trulign (Crystalens Toric) or Restor Toric (still not available in US). Vision usually much clearer if all astigmatism corrected; rotation of toric can increase the risk of visual distortion more than monofocals.
